Askinosie Chocolate!

Did you know that we have a variety of products that are not beer? Like chocolate?! We do! We have proudly carried Askinosie Chocolate from Springfield, Missouri since we opened! What is Askinosie Chocolate? Askinosie Chocolate is one of the first bean to bar chocolate manufacturers in the United States and one of the most prestigious. Former lawyer Sean Askinosie sold his first chocolate bar in 2007 and has not looked back! Askinosie Chocolate also practices direct trade which allows for a much more intimate and long lasting connection with the cocoa farmers. It also happens to be some pretty fantastic chocolate with a variety of single origin flavors as well as collaborations and experimental chocolate bars! We currently have Askinosie White Chocolate Bars, Askinosie San Jose Del Tambo 70% cocoa bars (Ecuador), Raspberry Collaboration Bar with American Spoon, dark chocolate with peanut butter bars, white chocolate bars, Askinosie cocoa powder, Askinosie sipping chocolate canisters as well as Sean Askinosie’s book “Meaningful Work” on our shelves. This is just the beginning in about a month we will receive a limited amount of Askinosie Gingerbread Chocolate Bars and some other new flavors! We also have a bunch of delicious Theo Chocolate (another bean to bar manufacturer from Seattle) coming in and we are working on a beer and chocolate flight so stay tuned for that blog post as well!
