Happy Holidays!

I sincerely hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! We have a very busy schedule to finish up the year!

On Tuesday November 29th starting at 7pm we will be tapping our keg of 2016 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout! We will also have some bottles of BCBS for sale and Goose Island Demolition, Sofie, Matilda, Hombre Secreto (Belgian Style Ale aged in Tequila barrels with Brett) and the 2016 Autumn Experimental Ale on tap! Plus a variety of other Goose Island specialty bottles such as The Ogden and several vintages of Sophie. This will be a lot of fun and considering Bourbon County did not make it to Vancouver outside of Total Wine and BevMo last year, this is a pretty big deal!

Join us Tuesday December 6th as we showcase some fun holiday beers from Lompoc Brewing in Portland! The final draft list will be posted soon, and there will be some really interesting seasonal beers to try!

The day after our Lompoc event we will welcome Widmer Brothers back into the show for a draft spotlight! We will have several beers from their innovation department and the famous Widmer Brothers Alt beer will be on tap! Of course, the one and only Mike Fox from Widmer Brothers will be here and who knows who else might show up!

On Sunday December 11th at noon we will host a silent rare beer auction in our garage area. All of the proceeds will go to the Corey family who’s 2 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with ALL. The event will start at noon and carry on into the evening. I (Tim) have already scrounged up some ridiculously rare beers and we have received some out of this world donations from friends, family and customers already. Here are a few early examples Boulevard Love Child #1-7 (LC #1 was never even sold, so it is exceptionally rare), a Bottle of Hair of The Dog Otto signed by Alan himself, some Bourbon County Rare, donations have been pouring in, so there is a lot of amazing beers that can be purchased for this cause. The sets and rarest items will be auctioned via silent auction format, but we will also have a grab bag set up where $20 will get you a great beer, the catch is, you will not know which beer until you purchase it! All proceeds from both auctions will go to the Correy Family. So, if you like beer and only stop into the shop one day a year, this is the time to visit! This is the time of the year where the great barrel aged beers of the world come out of hiding, so the draft list for the entire month should be a lot of fun! Cheers everyone and have a safe and happy holiday season!
